October 14, 2008 at the initiative of the ESG communication group a roundtable «World food crisis — a chance for Ukraine?» was held. Representatives from government, representatives of industry associations and leading industry experts took part in the round table. More than thirty competent professionals discussed this, without exaggeration, a key problem for the Ukrainian economy. 

Among them:

• First Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine, Yuri Luzan.
• President of the Ukrainian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, Anatoliy Kinah
• President of the Ukrainian Trade and Industry Confederation, Volodimyr Demchak
• Department of Finance Director, APC and environmental activities of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine, Anatonliy Danilishin
• President of the Ukrainian Agrarian Confederation, Leonid Kazachenko
• Chairman of the Ukrainian bakers' association, Volodimyr Slabovsky
• Head of the Department of Economics and Agricultural Policy reforms Institute of Economics and Forecasting National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Olena Borodina and other market experts.

It turned out that the spacious hotel room Hyatt Regency Kyiv, is a comfortable work of 60-70 people, up nearly all comers. As most participants noticed, another step has been made — a round-table initiated by the ESG communication group, has helped APC members to hear one another and to update those problems, which are among the key as far as the development of the Ukrainian economy is concerned.
